Schaeffler has announced its range of INA electric auxiliary water pumps will now include a reference for the Volvo XC60, along with several other models.
The range, produced by the motion technology company under the INA brand, meets OEM standards and offers coverage of the European vehicle parc. The launch earlier this year included an initial batch of 11 parts, with more set to be released soon as the portfolio continues to evolve.
Electric water pump 538 1018 10 covers Volvo vehicles equipped with the B4204 engine, including various iterations of the S60, S90, V40, V60, V70, V90, XC40, XC70 and XC90. The most popular vehicle covered is the Volvo XC60 Hybrid AWD, in production since 2018.
Maik Evers, Head of Product Management Powertrain Systems at Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, said: “This new pump is notable for its precise controllability. Because it is powered by the vehicle electrical system, not the belt drive, the delivery rate is continuously regulated.
“Our range of INA auxiliary water pumps is proving popular with technicians,” said Maik, “which is testament to the continued efforts we are putting into improving our thermal management offering. “
For vehicles equipped with Volvo’s B4204 engine, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket also offers several other INA engine system repair solutions, including 530 0746 10 Timing Belt kit, 529 0554 10 FEAD kit, 535 0367 10 Overrunning Alternator Pulley (OAP) and 529 0548 10, another FEAD kit.
