Santa Pod Raceway is to host the launch of the New 2016 Racing Oils range from Lucas Oil, at Autosport International, in Hall 7, on stand 7460.
“It would be difficult to find a more appropriate place to launch our specialist Racing Engine Oil formulations for 2016 than the Santa Pod Stand, at Autosport International,” says Les Downey, Managing Director of Lucas Oil Products UK.
“Santa Pod is the home of European Drag Racing and Lucas Oil has a long association with the track and many of the winning teams, drivers and cars that race there.”
Racing Engine Oil is the very simple and straightforward name for the range, which will be available in mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oil specifications.
It has been developed and tested under extreme racing conditions in the US, in close association with Richard Childress Racing (RCR).
The new range is equipped with New Zinc Technology. Zinc is a key racing oil additive because under heat and load, it reacts to increase engine protection. Consequently, racing oils contain more parts per million than oils designed for cars used on public roads.
In addition to high zinc values, the new formulations in the Racing Engine Oil range feature complex additive packages.
They include packages that are designed with anti-oxidant, anti-wear, anti-foam and anti-seize technology, plus extra lubricity for faster acceleration and a higher RPM.
They also provide the ability to reduce drag, while maintaining optimum operating pressure levels.
In collaboration with each other, they deliver the essential qualities needed to achieve outstanding results both on-track and off-road.
