The IAAF Council has approved the selection of Neil Jaggar as the Federation’s Vice-President.
Neil, who is a Director of Intertruck, the national CV parts distribution group, will work alongside existing IAAF President Graham Knight for the next year or so until himself becoming President at the Federation’s AGM in January 2015. He is a long-serving member of the Federation having been a member of the CV Committee during the noughties before joining the IAAF Council at the end of 2012.
“This is a real honour for me,” said Neil, “and I’m really looking forward to helping my colleagues on the Board and Council of IAAF guide the Federation over the next few years.”
Graham Knight was enthusiastic about Neil’s appointment, stating: “We’ve seen what Neil brings to our Council meetings and his determination and commitment to see the IAAF prosper made his selection a natural choice.”
