MANN-FILTER has been awarded the 2025 PARTSLIFE Environmental Award for its more sustainable filters with wood-based impregnation.
The ceremony took place on June 17 at the PROTOTYP Automuseum in Hamburg. In the “Circular Economy” category, the brand was commended for its use of the renewable raw material lignin in filters, which conserves resources and sustainably reduces the ecological footprint of series products.
MANN-FILTER will donate the award’s 3,000 euro prize money to the German Forest Protection Association. The non-profit association has been committed to protecting and preserving forests since 1947.
Marian Anton, Business Development Manager at MANN+HUMMEL, said: “This award means a lot to us. It shows that our commitment to greater sustainability in filtration is recognized and appreciated. For us, the use of environmentally friendly materials such as renewable raw materials is not a trend, but a matter close to our hearts. At the same time, it is an award for the great work of our entire project team and the outstanding collaboration with our cooperation partner Gessner. It motivates us to continue on the path we have taken and to make our solutions even more environmentally friendly.”
