Fortron offers some advice to the independent garages that are not making full use of the free marketing available to them.
Vehicle treatment manufacturer Fortron Automotive has been working with dealerships and independent garages for nearly forty years. As marketing techniques have evolved, social media has become an integral part of Fortron’s marketing and brand-building process.
Whilst trying to connect with customers via social media, the marketing team at Fortron noticed that many of the independent garages were not making full use of the free marketing available to them. Despite having a company Facebook page, a large proportion of them are not fully engaging with it and only a small minority use Twitter and Instagram.
Victoria, who directs marketing efforts at Fortron, explains:

Social media is a vital means to marketing a business and best of all it’s free.”
