Engine parts supplier GT Automotive is targeting unprecedented growth in the automotive aftermarket in 2016, following a period of investment in the business.
The company, renowned as a specialist in the supply of camshaft kits and crankshaft pulleys, has been involved in the design and manufacture of products for more than 35 years.
Now, as GT Automotive looks to expand its product ranges and increase its brand awareness, it is targeting parts distributors and engine re-conditioners in the independent automotive aftermarket.
The company is headed up by Director Oliver Croxson, who said: “For many years, we’ve been the industry’s best kept secret, concentrating on our core values of supplying a competitively priced, quality product that is backed up by leading technical support.
“Now, with the infrastructure in place, we are ideally positioned to take this specialism further and wider than ever before.”
With over 2,500 references in the camshafts range covering thousands of vehicle applications, GT Automotive products are CAD designed and CNC machined to optimise torque and horsepower over the widest possible power band. In the performance camshaft range, each application is offered in multiple profiles with its own lift & duration characteristics to suit various levels of tuning.
GT Automotive camshafts are manufactured from the highest quality brand new chill-cast – or ductile iron – steel cores. By manufacturing camshafts from new cores, GT is able to offer camshafts that equal or exceed the quality of the OEM units they are designed to replace.
