Professional Motor Mechanic Magazine was victorious at the Garage Equipment Association golf day last week.
The overall event, held at Whittlebury Park Golf Club in Northamptonshire on Thursday August 13th, was won by Premier Diagnostics, with MAHA UK finishing second.
Over £2,500 was raised by GEA members for BEN, the automotive charity.
With a stableford score of 85, the team from Hamerville Media Group won the subsidiary prize, the BEN Cup, which was contested by all non-GEA members.
The team was made up of PMM Group Advertisement Manager Rob Gilham, Editor Richard Bowler, Bruce Somerville, Sales Manager at Rema Tip Top and Nick Rackyleft, Sales Manager at Ring Automotive.
Speaking following the victory, Mr Gilham said “It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, organised perfectly by the GEA and BEN.
“As for the golf, it was a pleasure playing with the team who were all delighted to pick up the award”.
Dave Garratt, Chief Executive of the GEA commented “We just managed to keep dry this year, which is a rare event in itself, it’s great to see colleagues from the motor industry enjoying the day and is an excellent way to help our charity BEN”.
