Garage of the Year voting still open

Motor Codes has launched the 2015 Garage of the Year competition. Car owners who’ve enjoyed top-class service from their local garage are being urged to go online to enter them for the national competition that celebrates the country’s best garages.

Top performing garages from across each UK regions will be shortlisted for the nationwide Garage of the Year competition which will be awarded in June to the UK’s best car service and repair workshop.

The Garage of the Year competition is run by the Government-approved Motor Codes garage standards scheme. Consumers who have received first class service are being encouraged to rate their garage at motorcodes.co.uk.

Open to all Motor Codes subscribers, Garage of the Year 2015 runs until May 31st. Online reviews left for garages will determine 11 regional winners from the UK’s top main dealers and independent garages. Motor Codes Chief, Mark Terry said ‘By leaving online reviews for garages across the UK network, customers are helping to signpost the very best services in their local area and in turn this drives up standards across the industry’.

The regional winners will be announced week commencing June 1st. Judges from across the motor industry will then select the national winner and runner up who will be announced at the prestigious Auto Express Car of the Year event at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms on June 30th.

With past winners reporting a sustained boost in business, reputation and bookings from far away, this year’s tie-up with Auto Express demonstrates extra value for regional winners and national champions of this established competition.

In advance of the competition opening, a suite of marketing materials has been made available through the log-in area of www.motorcodes.co.uk, that can be used to direct traffic to the Motor Codes survey page.

Garage of the Year plays a central role in the Motor Codes online marketing campaign. People visiting the website in 2014, reading reviews of subscribing garages, went on to deliver a potential revenue stream of £18 million in service and repair bookings.
