Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd is giving its independent garage customers even more incentives for fitting its components.
The company is awarding members of its BoxClever garage loyalty scheme extra points each time they purchase its ignition coils in October and November – increasing the points awarded from 100 to 200.
The Autumn offer is in addition to NGK’s current successful promotional campaigns centred on its market-leading original equipment (OE) NTK Lambda sensors and NGK glow plugs which are also running until the end of November.
The Lambda promotion sees the points awarded increase from 100 per item to a massive 1000 – making it an even more attractive proposition for garages, while the points awarded for glow plugs purchased has increased from 20 per item to 40.
NGK recently revitalised BoxClever, however the scheme remains simple: the more members purchase, the greater the rewards. Following the purchase of NGK spark plugs, glow plugs, NTK sensors and ignition coils, scheme members are encouraged to collect the single boxes that the products come supplied in and these are then returned in exchange for prize points.
Points are then accumulated and added to the user’s account once NGK has confirmed receipt of the packaging. These points can then be used to claim a number of fantastic free gifts as and when the member has raised enough capital to cash in.
Mark Hallam, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd Marketing Manager, said: “Our Lambda and glow plug promotions are proving to be very popular with our customers and so we have decided to expand our offer by adding ignition coils.
“Our ignition coils range is very comprehensive and I’m sure will be equally as attractive to our distributor and their garage customers as the Lambda and glow plug promotions.”
The BoxClever points bonanza will be highlighted when NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd exhibits at the forthcoming the MechanEx shows at Donington Park on October 11 & 12 and at Sandown Park on November 8 & 9.
