Emese Weissenbacher has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at MANN+HUMMEL.
She started her professional career at the filtration specialists as an intern in the Human Resources department, after her graduation in 1994.
Her career trajectory continued with positions in controlling and marketing, after which she made the leap to production management and from there to the extended management board.
Before joining the management board, the technically oriented business graduate headed up the large filter plant in the Czech Republic and was responsible for a total of seven plants and around 3,000 employees in Europe as the Group Vice President Europe.
Born in Hungary, Emese Weissenbacher grew up in Romania and speaks four languages. She is one of 107 women in the top management at companies in Baden-Württemberg.
Actively involved in mentoring woman, she is a regular speaker on panels on economic issues and questions relating to career and family.
In her new executive position as CFO, the 51-year old mother of two is joining the existing trio of Alfred Weber (President and CEO), Frank Jehle (Deputy CEO), and Manfred Wolf (President & General Manager Automotive + Industrial Business).
