AutoCare member Crescent Motoring Services from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire has scooped the prestigious Motor Codes Garage of the Year award for the second year in succession.
Crescent Motors who are also members of the Approved Garages network fought off competition from 8,000 independent garages in Motor Codes’ nationwide network to take the crown. Motor Codes is the Government-backed, Trading Standards approved quality code for garages.
The award, which is based on customer nominations and feedback, rewards excellence in workmanship and customer service.
Mark Terry, Managing Director of Motor Codes, said: “Motor Codes garages are providing a first class service to motorist’s right across the UK, and we’re delighted to have this opportunity to celebrate the best in the business. All of our finalists are great ambassadors for the industry and they should be rightly proud of their achievement.”
Crescent Motor’s Managing Director Steve Tallett added “Crescent’s continuing success is down to the business’ commitment to supporting charities in our local community and to the high level of customer service and innovative promotional activities we provide, like ladies’ and new drivers’ nights, which teach basic car maintenance.
“It`s a fantastic accolade and a big pat on the back for the whole team here at Crescent Motors. Moving forward I would encourage garages to get involved by subscribing to Motorcodes as it`s a great way to improve the image of our sector and to build customer confidence.”
Crescent’s victory rounds off an excellent competition for AutoCare and Approved Garages, which also boast four of the 11 regional winners of the award, more than a third of the prizes on offer.
“We’d like to give hearty congratulations to Crescent Motors and all our regional winners,” said AutoCare Network Manager Maria McCullough.
“The success we’ve had in the Garage of the Year competition shows the commitment to quality that is evident throughout the AutoCare and Approved Garages networks. The fact that Crescent has won the award twice in a row is the icing on the cake.”
