Supplier of autoparts and workshop equipment, Andrew Page, is set to continue its network expansion with the opening of a new 17,000sq ft. site in Halesowen.
The new site will serve as a ‘hub’ branch and improve Andrew Page’s stock handling capabilities in the South East and South West regions in England, as well as reaching customers in Wales. It is an important location for Andrew Page, which has three sites in the region already.
The central location enhances the company’s logistics capabilities further, while the Halesowen site will improve Andrew Page’s ability to reach the region as quickly and effectively as possible.
Having completely updated its telephony and telematics systems last year, Andrew Page has been able to integrate the Halesowen site with the wider network immediately. That will enable straightforward and clear communication across branches to source parts and redistribute stock as required.
“The Midlands is a key region for us both in terms of its location from a logistics perspective, as well as the opportunities it brings in reaching additional customers,” said Mark Saunders, Andrew Page chief executive.
“This site will also help us to expand our operations into Wales, where we are looking to grow further after opening our Cardiff site last year.”
