ALLDATA reveals lineup for workshop event

ALLDATA Europe has announced its speaker lineup for the forthcoming Repair Excellence Event, which will take place at Shaikly Motor Company on Saturday 8th March, in collaboration with Opus IVS.

Michael Shaikly, Technical Topics’ James Dillon and exhilHRate’s Amy Blick will lead proceedings, delivering 20-minute presentations.

Michael will address customer scoring and profiling, James will delve into diagnostic approaches, test and measurement techniques, while Amy will put the spotlight on HR challenges in workshops, like turnover, skill shortages, physical demands and worklife balance – with real case studies.

Visitors will then break into smaller groups for three technical training sessions, led by  industry figures.

Steve Scott, the founder of the SimplyDiag Network, will focus on efficient and profitable troubleshooting, focusing on fault identification and root cause analysis using pass/fail tests within an initial assessment time.

Meanwhile, Mechanic Mindset’s Darren Quinn will use a vehicle to deliver a masterclass in sensor diagnostics. He will use Opus IVS tools and ALLDATA Europe wiring diagrams to explain sensor functionality, fault codes and troubleshooting techniques.

Finally, Gary Clayton from The Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance, will explore what the organisation does to support the automotive aftermarket community.

ALLDATA Europe and Opus IVS staff will be on-hand throughout to show delegates how tools and equipment, like ALLDATA Repair and Opus’ DrivePro2, can provide solutions to modern-day workshop challenges.

ALLDATA Europe UK Sales Director, Simon Frost, said: “Our esteemed lineup of speakers are keen to demonstrate their unique industry expertise and raise standards across the industry. Their collective knowledge and experience will provide attendees with actionable insights to improve diagnostics, repair and customer satisfaction.

“From business growth strategies to modern technical sessions, the Repair Excellence Event is designed to give workshop owners and technicians the tools they need to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.”
