A1 ADAS Group reveals Mechanex details

A1 ADAS Group has announced it will be heading to this year’s Mechanex Show in Harrogate with a clear purpose: to help independent garages fix vehicles faster, more profitably, and without the delays or dependencies which come with main dealer involvement.

For workshops struggling with secure gateway restrictions, rising vehicle complexity, or lack of access to OE-level tools, A1’s stand will be a one-stop shop for solutions. It has partnered with the Autel stand again to manage the anticipated level of interest.

Visitors will be able to get hands-on with the latest ADAS and diagnostic technology, including the UK show debut of the Autel MaxiSYS Ultra S2, and discover how remote support can keep jobs in-house and revenue on the ramp.

The Autel MaxiSYS Ultra S2 features a 13.7-inch HD touchscreen, AI-powered fault detection, and a 6-in-1 VCMI2 interface, it reduces diagnostic time and complexity. It features real-time ECU testing, system topology mapping, integrated Remote Expert access, and built-in assistant MAX.

Joining it is the Hella Gutmann Mega Macs S20, which features a rapid boot-up, live diagnostics, and full vehicle coverage. Also on display will be platforms from TopDon and Texa, each selected for their workshop-ready performance.

Everything on show, from tools to complete remote packages, will be available to demo, order, or take away on the day. Mechanex Harrogate runs 15–16 May at the Yorkshire Event Centre. A1 will be at Stand C18 with its expert diagnostic and ADAS team.

Matt Hume, A1’s UK Sales Manager, said: “At the last Mechanex in Sandown, we kept hearing the same story – garages losing time on basic resets or diagnostics because they didn’t know dealer-level access was possible without actually going to a dealer. We’re here to show them it is.”

A1 will also have its Remote Diagnostics Mega Bundle on offer. This plug-and-go package enables garages to keep vehicles on-site by remotely dialling an A1 technician in via an interface.

Matt added: “We know workshops want practical, cost-effective answers, tools that work, and people they can trust.

“That’s why we don’t just supply the kit; we use it ourselves every day. We’re technicians first and foremost, and that’s what makes our advice genuinely independent.”

A1 ADAS Group will be on Stand C18 at Mechanex Harrogate. Entry is free. Register now to attend.
