Motor Codes, the consumer arm of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), has been appointed one of the automotive sector’s first Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers. Under new legislation, the organisation will work with automotive companies to help improve consumer confidence by resolving any disputes swiftly and reducing the number of complaints that go to court.

AutoCare member Crescent Motoring Services from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire has scooped the prestigious Motor Codes Garage of the Year award for the second year in succession.
Crescent Motors who are also members of the Approved Garages network fought off competition from 8,000 independent garages in Motor Codes’ nationwide network to take the crown. Motor Codes is the Government-backed, Trading Standards approved quality code for garages.
