BTN Turbos OE range.


All turbos available from BTN Turbo are 100% OE, conforming precisely to original specifications, providing the correct performance and total compatibility with the vehicle’s engine management system. They are:

  • first fit, straight from the original manufacturer’s production line,
  • balanced and calibrated to precise and correct tolerances,
  • flow bench tested to provide correct performance.

A non-original turbo can generate fault codes with the engine management system indicating reduced power, higher fuel consumption or excessive emissions. Due to the high complexity of turbos, there is also the risk of premature failure with non-OE, the tight tolerances and critical settings making it difficult to rebuild them to the exact original specification.

Original Manufacturers Remanufactured turbos, including the Garrett Original Reman range, are also on offer as an alternative to brand new, all of which are 100% OE and factory tested to provide identical performance. Saving up to 40% compared to the equivalent new turbo, Original Manufacturers Remanufactured turbos are exclusively available from BTN Turbo through their OMX Exchange programme. It can supply VNT variable turbine and REA electronic actuator turbos, covering a wide range of popular older models.

Every turbo supplied by BTN is covered by a two year warranty against manufacturing defects.

It’s always advised that to ensure a successful replacement turbo installation, it’s essential to find out what caused the old turbo to fail and eliminate the fault. Only 1% of turbo failures are due to a manufacturing fault with the turbo itself and in 95% of cases, the failure is oil related, and the reason is often oil starvation.
