TRWmoto launches new-look website

TRW Automotive Aftermarket’s motorcycle brand, TRWmoto has launched a dynamic new look website. This move is in line with the businesses 2015 online strategy and supports TRW’s aim to become a digital leader in its field.

With enhanced functionality, the TRWmoto website links to TRW’s growing digital portfolio. It contains a host of upgraded features and benefits offering customers and dealers everything they need for faster, easier and more accurate access to information. In addition, the website is now available in Russian, to meet the demands of a growing market.

“It is the new functionality, online technical support and state of the art vehicle park database which give TRWmoto’s website the edge,” explained TRW’s Motorcycle Manager, Ulf Haase.

“Attractive and intuitive, the design and functionality of the new TRWmoto.com website is based on that of TRWaftermarket.com. Both websites will be developed in tandem in the future.”

Users can now search by part number to allow model use verification. Full product details including material composition, dimension, weight, scaled fitment drawings and installation instructions are now available. In addition, technical hints and tips together with the latest catalogues can be found in the download section.

In line with market demands, TRW has invested heavily to improve its digital capability.

Recent developments include: the launch of TRW’s new ‘Passenger Car and HCV Part Finder App’ for Europe and Asia, the introduction of free technical resource, ‘Tech Corner’ and the imminent launch of a new and improved integrated catalogue on www.trwaftermarket.com which allows users to identify car parts using a vehicle identification number (VIN) or similar.

“Technology is driving our industry,” added Ulf. “As leading suppliers of automotive parts and systems into the global aftermarket, we fully support our customers by providing relevant and timely information through their preferred channels; wherever and whenever they need it.”
