Once upon a time, choosing a car servicing provider was based on brand, reputation and who has been in town for the longest – now with a decline of trust in the main dealers following scandals and exploitation, customers are choosing quality over quantity according to Servicing Stop’s recent survey.

A recent survey commissioned by Servicing Stop asked motorists to select the criteria that they thought were essential in choosing a car servicing provider. More than half of motorists chose the guarantee as one of their most important factors, 63% in fact – now much more important than brand reputation which only scored 53%.

Servicing Stop is known for its unbeatable prices and free collection and delivery service, but the company also offers a 12-month guarantee on all parts and labour – understanding how highly it is valued by customers.This offers a hands off, stress free and affordable service which comes complete with safeguards covering them for the next year ahead.

The same survey concluded that 77% of motorists thought quality was the most important factor. Servicing Stop is said to employ highly skilled mechanics and only use original parts that protect the car’s warranty. The company also undertake a comprehensive review of the garage’s financial data, insurances and accreditations before enrolling them into the network to ensure the highest quality is maintained for every customer.

Garages continue to be monitored throughout by measuring customer satisfaction, cost and their compliance to service schedules. Servicing Stop also offers customers incentives to rate their experience, reward service agents based on satisfaction scores and allocate work to garages based on reviews from previous customers.

More than 1,500 government-approved garages are already enrolled in the Servicing Stop network, with a target of 2,000 expected by the end of the year.
