Bosch Car Service members to offer free roadside assistance

Bosch Car Service (BCS) garages now provide their customers with a free roadside assistance service, covering passenger vehicles up to 10 years old.

Free of charge to customers who have a qualifying service at participating Bosch Car Service garages, the initiative provides value-added benefits for customers, enhancing BCS brand loyalty by delivering a quality customer experience. The roadside assistance service includes vehicle recovery for all mechanical and electrical faults, such as punctures, accidents and breakdowns, vandalism and battery faults, as well as assistance if a customer is locked out of their vehicle, run out of fuel or filled up with the incorrect fuel type.

With the average age of vehicles on UK roads steadily increasing for the past decade and estimated to be almost eight years by the end of 2016 (Source: SMMT Data and Statista projections: http://www.statista.com/statistics/299951/average-age-of-cars-on-the-road-in-the-united-kingdom), the BCS Roadside Assistance product now benefits more car owners than ever. Operated by Allianz Global Assistance UK, the service covers all car makes and models up to 10 years old.

“With growing demand from motorists who want roadside assistance for older vehicles, it is important for us to provide a package that meets the needs of the BCS garages and their customers,” explains Shenoa Davies, BCS Concept Manager. “We require a competitive roadside assistance offering which provides a superior assistance and recovery service, and Allianz Global Assistance delivers a bespoke product to meet our requirements.

“With support from highly trained garage technicians and Allianz Global Assistance recovery teams, we’re confident that customers benefit from the best vehicle assistance available, when they need it most. This ensures they receive the same high quality service they’ve always enjoyed from BCS garages.”

Ben Massingham, Head of Corporate at Allianz Global Assistance in the UK comments: “With the average UK car at its oldest in three decades, it’s important that service centres like BCS continue to meet the changing needs of their customers. By working side-by-side with BCS, we provide a competitive roadside assistance package, designed to enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand loyalty.
