‘automotive Diamonds’ shortlisted for loyalty programme award

‘automotive Diamonds’, the multi partner loyalty programme for independent aftermarket garages, has been shortlisted for a place in the prestigious Loyalty Awards 2015, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Region.

As the only shortlisted programme from within the automotive industry, ‘automotive Diamonds’ has beaten stiff competition to secure a place next to well-known global brands such as Heineken, L’Oreal and Vodafone in the category for Loyalty Programme of the Year B2B.

Sponsored by: Comarch; ICLP; Aimia; Ketchup; Visa and Avios, ‘The Loyalty Awards 2015’ will take place on June 9 in London.

Alexander Knorn, automotive Diamonds spokesperson, commented; “When the programme was launched in 2010 by TRW, the idea was always that it should be a multi partner coalition, working within the major European Markets. It was this international collaborative marketing framework which made automotive Diamonds a pioneer in the automotive aftermarket.

“Five years on and the programme is now active in 10 countries with five partners: TRW; Denso Aftermarket; Gates; Philips and Sogefi. For everyone’s hard work and success to be recognised in this way only serves to drive us to achieve even greater member participation and experience.”

The mechanics of automotive Diamonds are straightforward. After signing up, garages earn points or ‘diamonds’ on partner’s product purchased. These points can then be redeemed for rewards of their choice.

In addition, all partners are able to conduct bespoke, micro segmented product promotions. This ensures an efficient use of budgets and a high appreciation for relevant, individual offers by the members.

“Such programmes are becoming ever more popular as a way of rewarding customers for their continued loyalty. With automotive Diamonds shortlisted in a year when the organisers saw a 30 percent increase in entries reinforces the fact that automotive Diamonds is successfully fulfilling an industry need,” Alexander concluded.

The programme is currently operational in the following countries, under varying brand combinations: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
