Shaftec is offering PMM readers the chance to win a Sony PlayStation 4 and a fantastic £250 worth of Shaftec products from their designated motor factor.
With an increasing number of vehicles rolling off the production line fitted with the electric variant, EPS is a growing market – and transmission expert Shaftec is ready in the wings with its aftermarket offer. With 2018’s demand for Shaftec’s new-to-range steering parts coming in at 2:1 in favour of electric over traditional, the business has seen a 66% increase in the sale of its electric steering rack and column parts since 2014 – which in turn has resulted in a 47% increase in its steering production workforce.
Shaftec experts will be available in Hall 5.1 on Stand D10 at this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt to demonstrate how, through expansion, investment and strategic direction, it has established itself in the UK aftermarket and is ready to take on Europe in the field of Electric Power Steering (EPS) remanufacturing.
“We want the Shaftec brand to be in the best position possible to take advantage of the developments in hybrid, electric and, ultimately, autonomous vehicle technology,” says Tom Curtis, company Director.
